If you are a devoted fan of MTV's "Teen Wolf," then the upcoming instalments -- episode 15 and 16 -- will leave you stunned. This is hardly the first time that the TV show has managed to leave viewers heartbroken, but in a new setting and in a new context, fans of the show will find their hopes being crushed. This remains the crux of Season 5 Episode 15.
In the latest episode, Stiles (Dylan O'Brian) wants to rescue Lydia (Holland Roden) from the mental asylum, Eichen House. He gathers his force with Scott (Tyler Posey) and the two devise a plan to save the banshee. At this juncture, Scott's bitter enemy Theo (Cody Christian) runs into them and puts forth a suggestion: Scott's pack and Theo's pack can come together and break into Eichen House.
In the promo for Episode 5, Theo says, "If you're planning to break Lydia out of Eichen House, you still need to get past the mountain ash. We can make it through. You can't, Scott."
Scott acknowledges that Lydia's role in saving them all from the Beast of Gevaudan is much more significant than they previously imagined. When Scott and Stiles do get to the hospital, Lydia's health is frail and she tells them to get out of there and save themselves.
Does Lydia's precarious condition have anything to do with Dr. Valack? He makes an appearance in episode 15 and visits Eichen House. In the promo, Dr Valack speaks to one of the employees at the mental asylum after pulling out a Dread Doctor's helmet. He asks her, "Have you actually put that thing on someone?"
She replies: "Not in years." The doctor then puts the helmet onto the head of the employee and she seems to be in incredible pain.
It remains to be seen if Dr. Valack's next stop is Lydia's ward in Eichen house. He has helped her in the past, but will he do the same again?
Season 5 Episode 15's synopsis released via TV Guide reads:
"Stiles learns that Lydia is in imminent danger and develops a plan to break her out of Eichen House. Theo, however, has his own plans for her."
