Team Anna, Latest Victim of Poonam Pandey’s Publicity Hunt?

Poonam Pandey, who is known for her quest to be always in the headlines, has dragged herself forcibly into controversial acts in the past to grab the prime news space and went to the extent of posting her latest nude picture on Twitter for Shah Rukh Khan's IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders' victory.

Poonam is known to have encroached into every topic that has caught the nation's attention and so is the issue of Team Anna, which is spearheading a massive movement against corruption in the country.

Earlier this month, Poonam gave a press statement that she was approached by Kiran Bedi, a core Team Anna member and former IPS officer, seeking her support in the ongoing Lokpal Bill stir.

The latest news is that Krain Bedi has come out clean showing ignorance on any invitation to Poonam to join the movement.

But Poonam, the Kingfisher model, insisted that she received the invitation from Bedi asking her to participate in the Lokpal fight. It was also expected that she would share the dais with anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare and yoga guru Baba Ramdev, in their latest day-long fast held in New Delhi at Jantar Mantar last Sunday.  

To make her claim 'loud and clear', Poonam also Tweeted ahead of the proposed fast saying, "I don't know why people are asking me m i joining ne movement for Social cause, NO i am NOT.."

However, Bedi's remark was quite sharp on the issue: "I have no idea of what she (Poonam Pandey) is talking about," Bedi said.

Whether Poonam's inclusion in the ongoing struggle for Lokpal Bill would help the Team Anna or not, many youngsters propelled by her racy pictures on Twitter, will surely pay a second look at the agitation.
