Tata Zest is finally here. Tata Motors' much anticipated Zest sedan has made its India debut with a mouth watering price tag starting at ₹4.64 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Delhi.

Zest, a car based on Tata Motors' "DesigNext, DriveNext, ConnectNext" philosophy is being offered with two engine options in the country. The petrol model of Zest gets power from Tata's newly developed turbocharged 1.2-liter Revotron engine, which is tuned to produce a 90 PS (88.73 bhp) of power and 140 Nm of torque and comes mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel model of the Zest comes coupled to Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), and there is also 5-speed manual transmission on offer. The diesel variant gets power from 1.3-litre Multijet motor, which is capable of churning out 88.8 Bhp of power and 200Nm torque. While the petrol model of Zest promises a return of 17.6 kmpl, the diesel model is expect o give 23 kmpl.

The car's new design philosophy integrates a new front grille with the Tata's new 'Humanity Line' and completes the looks with projector headlamps, new set of 15-inch alloy wheels, and LED tail lights. Features like central locking, body coloured OVRMs with blinkers and turn indicators are standard across all trims of the new Zest and the car also gets goodies like 5inch touch screen Harman infotainment system, MapMyIndia navigation system, SRS front airbags, rear parking assist and many more.

The Zest will be available in a total of nine variants- 4 petrol and 5 diesel and comes in exciting six colours -pristine white, platinum silver, sky grey, buzz blue, dune beige and venetian red.
