It looks like there is no end to the spy shots of the upcoming Tata MPV the Hexa. A fresh batch of spy shots of the Hexa has surfaced online, this time giving a closer look at what is believed to be the top-end version of the MPV.

The members of Team BHP forum have caught the Hexa MPV on camera in two instances. While one comes from Ladakh, where the Hexa was being readied for a TVC shoot, the latter set comes from Coimbatore. The Hexa is seen its fully revealed and uncamouflaged forms in these new images. There is nothing much to talk about the style and design of the new Hexa, since most of the details are already out. The latest development says that the MPV could hit the showrooms by mid-October. We also hear that Tata is likely to start the dealership training by mid-September.

As far as the powertrains of the Hexa is concerned, it is speculated to get a 2.2-litre engine that is tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. The engine will come mated to either a six-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission. There have also been reports of the Hexa getting a lower displacement 1.99 litre engine under the hood. However, Tata is likely to bring the 1.99 litre engine later. Tata Hexa is also rumoured to get automated manual transmission(AMT).

Although the Hexa is known as the facelifted avatar of Tata Aria, from what we have seen so far, the MPV seems to have taken a detour in its overall styling. As for styling, the Hexa is expected to come with wrap-around LED tail lamps, door claddings, dual-coloured wheel arches, integrated spoiler and roof rails. Other features expected include dual hexagonal-patterned front grille with chrome accents and smoked projector headlamps, fog lamps and daytime running lamps.
