The music of Toxic was launched in Mumbai on August 13. The glamorous evening saw Yash, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and the rest of the cast grace the event. Though Nayanthara skipped the event, the other ladies of the film, Kiara and Tara, amped up the glam quotient.
Kiara Advani wore a red pantsuit, a red Elie Saab ensemble. She wore the designer's floral-appliqué Cady blazer, priced at ₹1,98,091, with matching high-rise Cady flared pants worth ₹1,32,061. The plunging neckline, structured tailoring, and dramatic flared trousers created a bold silhouette.
Tara Sutaria opted for an elegant yet sultry low-neck black lace column dress from Helsa Studio, priced at ₹44,104. Her Katy Sling Lace 105 heels, reportedly priced at $1,150, added a luxe touch. She completed the ensemble with vintage Chanel earrings, keeping her accessories refined and letting the dramatic lace dress take centre stage.
Rukmini Vasanth brightened up the event in a sunshine-yellow dress featuring a corset-inspired bodice and a flowing skirt. The fitted upper half beautifully defined her silhouette, while the soft, fluid skirt added movement and femininity.
Huma Qureshi wore a shimmery outfit.
At the trailer launch, Yash praised Tara and called her a "Disney princess."
Talking about Geetu, Yash said, "She comes across like she is strict, but she is very, very jovial. The way she creates the atmosphere for everybody on the set, I think she has pushed all of us. Especially for me, she has pushed me, she has made me learn lines in English."
Yash also credited Geetu for helping him evolve as a performer and take on a character unlike anything he has played before. "And the kind of character I have played, the kind of actor I am today, I think I need to really thank Geetu for pushing me as an actor," he said.
Emphasising the importance of trusting a director's vision, Yash added, "I think it is important for you to have faith in your director. I had that faith, so I think you have witnessed a different kind of a Yash in this movie."
