Tamil actress Vijayalakshmi, who began her career with Venkat Prabhu's cult film "Chennai 600028" in 2007, will enter wedlock soon.

Vijayalakshmi, daughter of National Film Award-winning Tamil film director Agathiyan, will marry assistant director Feroz Mohammed on 28 September.

Vijayalakshmi and Feroz were in a relationship for quite some time and the actress' sister Niranjini Ahathiyan had confirmed about it a few months ago.

While Feroz has worked as assistant director to Arivazhagan of "Vallinam" and "Eeram" fame, Vijayalakshmi has acted in "Anjathe", "Saroja", "Adhe Neram Adhe Idam" and "Kattradhu Kalavu", among others.

She has also acted in Kannada film "Attahasa", based on forest brigand Veerappan. The film was also simultaneously shot in Tamil as "Vana Yuddham". The actress was last seen in director Badri's comedy film "Aadama Jaichomada" in 2014.

Earlier, there were reports that the actress had confirmed her decision to quit acting and focus on film production and investments. Reports had also suggested that she will turn producer for her fiance's debut directorial.
