Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have established a strong footing in the industry and boast of a loyal fan base. Therefore, any film they do together is going to draw viewers but there are a few more reasons that make "Tamasha" a special movie to watch.

The special pair

DP and RK have been, many a time, dubbed as the new-age Kajol-Shah Rukh. The comparison is fair because these two bring a lot of charm and infectious chemistry along with spot-on acting skills. In "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", they were coming together after a break-up and the audience was quite taken about their easy-going onscreen rapport. This time too, everyone's hoping for them to recreate that magic.

Imtiaz Ali

This director makes love stories, but often explores the darker sides to those. His films have messages embedded in them. As he puts it, the story has instances from his life but it's not autobiographical.

"'Tamasha' has that kind of love which makes a normal person extraordinary, which makes a commoner an artist. This is the kind of love through which you understand why you need a woman in life and how it takes you on a journey through which we identify ourselves," Ali was quoted by Koimoi as saying.

Corsica

Ali shared a mini-clip on social media which is tempting enough for you to book seats at the theatre. It has beaches, chapels and an old-world charm to it. Also, Bollywood films haven't really explored the French island before making it a welcomed departure from the snow-capped Swiss mountains.

The music album

Watching Ranbir romance Deepika in Corsica with A R Rahman's tunes playing in the background is all things dreams are made of. "Agar Tum Saath Ho" and "Matargashti" are already topping the charts.

The film is scheduled to release on Friday, 27 November.
