It was rumoured that Tamannaah was excluded from the promotions of Bahubali 2 after she had a fallout with Rajamouli. However, she rejected the same, and said that she shares great relationship with the director and the entire team of the movie.

"People are saying that I was left out of the film promotions and my appearance was only in select areas. Since my role is only towards the climax for the second version, naturally I will be given importance as per my role. I have attended all the promotional events I have been asked to by the filmmakers. I have great regard for them and thank them for all their support. I share a great rapport with them, unlike reports which say there's a tiff between Rajamouli and me," The Asian Age quoted Tamannaah as saying.

There were reports saying that the actress had claimed to be the main part of the climax of Bahubali 2. But she now said that she was misquoted. "I never said that I am the climax. I only said that I am in the climax portion, and I am being misquoted. How can I say that when the entire team has put in a lot of effort over the last few years to get such an output?," she told the daily.

Earlier, DNA had quoted Tamannaah as claiming to be the climax of Bahubali 2. "I am primarily the climax of the film. So yes, you will see a lot of me in the climax. Last time, I wasn't required in the climax but this time, the war will have a lot of me. And I can't reveal more than this, but I am the reason why the climax takes place," she was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, Bahubali 2 has had an overwhelming response at the box office, not just in India but also overseas. The movie has shattered all previous first day box office records in the history of Indian cinema.
