Tamanna Bhatia and Shruti Haasan may be good friends, but that has not stopped them from competing professionally. As a result, the Punjabi kudi has taken away Karthi-Nagarjuna's biggie from the Kamal's daughter.
The PVP Cinemas, which is in a legal battle with Shruti Haasan after a fallout with her, is not in a mood to solve the issue by bringing her back onboard, rather they have decided to replace her with another top actress.
Their search for Shruti Haasan's replacement has ended with Tammnna Bhatia, who is most likely to take up the project. The actress, who had earlier worked with Karthi in films like "Paiyaa" and "Siruthai", had talks with the PVP Cinemas and a deal will reportedly be struck anytime soon.
This comes after the PVP filed a legal case against Shruti Haasan for violation of a certain clause in their agreement. It has been learnt that the actress turned down their offer after initially agreeing to work in the film.
Venting out their anger, the production house confirmed the news on Twitter; it wrote: "The current news about our case against Shruti Hassan is unfortunately true. We are pursuing this case against her due to a (1/2)"
The PVP added, "Failure to comply with the "Terms of Agreement". We look forward to a speedy resolution to this issue. (2/2)"
How Big is the Loss for Shruti Haasan?
Karthi and Nagarjuna's forthcoming movie is one of the biggest forthcoming movies in the South film industry. The film is simultaneously being made in Tamil and Telugu languages. The project would have taken her popularity to new heights and reinstated her top position in the South. However, the loss will not have much impact on her as she has multiple big projects in her hands.
"Yaara", "Welcome Back Film", "Gabbar Is Back, "Rocky Handsome", "Puli" and "Thala 56" are her forthcoming movies.
