Several rumours regarding the cast of upcoming episode titled "Rescue" of "Taboo Tattoo" Season 1 has been surfacing all over the internet. One of these rumours states that Avex Pictures will return in the next episode.
The anime is based on the manga of same name created by Shinjiro and is streamed by Crunchyroll. As reported by Fandom Post, the new cast will also include a new character, Aryabhata, portrayed by Akari Kito.
Debuting on July 4, 2016 on TV Tokyo, the anime will consist of further episodes adapted from eleven volumes of the original manga, that has already been released in Japan.
"Rescue" will be directed by Takashi Watanbe and will be based on a script written by Mayori Sekijima. Characters designs of the episodes have been done by Shinya Hasegawa while the animation is supervised by JC Staff.
The confirmed cast of Season 1 includes Makoto Furukawa as Justice Akatsuka, Mikako Komatsu as Bluesy-Fluesy, Chika Anzai as Touko Ichinose, Akari Kito as Aryabhata, Shiori Izawa as Iltutmish, Kenjirou Tsuda as RR Lurker, Eri Kitamura as Lisa Lovelock, Hitomi Nabatame as Kar Shekar, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Brad Blackstone, Akari Kito as Aryabhata, Sho Hayami as Professor Wiseman and Tesshô Genda as Colonel Sanders.
The opening theme is titled "Belief" and is composed by May'n while the ending theme is "Egoistic Emotion" by TRIGGER.
The synopsis of "Taboo Tattoo" Season 1 reads:
"Seigi, a martial arts trained middle schooler, often feels driven to protect the weaker people around him. One day, he defends a homeless man against some punks, and the man gives him a strange tattoo on his palm in return. The tattoo is a secret weapon produced in the arms race between America and the Serinistan Kingdom.
"Seigi finds himself in over his head when a powerful girl, using the same secret weapon, violently pursues him in order to retrieve it. His skill at martial arts may not be enough to keep him alive, but will he be able to learn how to trigger the power of his tattoo in time?"
