Fans of "Swaragini" may hate Kavita (Nikita Sharma) for turning Sanskaar (Varun Kapoor) and Swara's (Helly Shah) lives into a living hell, but the off-screen truth is far from it.

Talking to India Forums, Sharma said she shares a great friendship with Shah, adding that they have a lot in common.

Narrating how it all started, Sharma said they once shared a room and it was then that they began talking to each other. During the course of their conversation, they figured they shared similar tastes in food, travel, TV shows and movies. "It's all about fun and she is, touch wood, a very, very, very fun-loving girl. I really love to spend good time with her," said Sharma.

Elaborating on the hate she gets from SwaSan fans, she said people often think she and Shah are loggerheads because of the characters they play on the show, but there's no such enmity between them and they have a gala time on the sets.

Shah and Sharma's friendship is much like Radhika Madan and Smriti Khanna's. The "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi" actors also play roles that require them to go against one another on screen, but off it they share a great rapport.

In other news, "Swaragini" is gearing up for an interesting twist, which may change things forever for the lead couples Swara-Sanskaar and Lakshya (Namish Taneja) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash). According to reports, Ragini, on learning that Lakshya was only using her for his own selfish needs, will attempt to kill herself.
