Maruti Suzuki Baleno was launched in India on 26 October and became an instant success, with bookings now having crossed 40,000 units. To replicate the success, Suzuki Italy SpA launched Baleno in Italy, with delivery to begin in March 2016. The Japanese company also launched the Baleno Web S Edition in Italy, priced at €15,900, which is approximately Rs 11.53 lakh.

The Baleno Web S edition comes with exclusive Blue Boreal shade. A red stripe at the lower section of the front bumper, 16-inch alloy wheels, HID head lamps, LED rear lights, ORVMs with integrated turn signals and privacy glasses are part of Web S Edition. The interior is spruced up with sports pedals, leather-wrapped steering wheel, red stitching on the gear knob and "Baleno" logo on the floor mats. The Web S Edition comes with seven-inch touchscreen display and an audio system with browser and Smartphone integration.

The Italian model also comes with safety features that include Radar Brake Support (RBS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), six airbags and ABS with ESP.

The Baleno Web S Edition is powered by the 1.0-litre three-cylinder Boosterjet, turbocharged, direct-injection petrol engine that produces 110bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque.
