Kabul, Sep 10 (ANI): Union Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj arrived in Afghanistan, on Wednesday in a bid to bolster ties between the two countries and review key projects that have been implemented in the region by India. Swaraj held talks with Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai on crucial bilateral and regional issues, as well as on defence and security assistance from India. Swaraj also met her Afghanistani counterpart Zarar Ahmad Osmani. She is also expected to hold meeting with presidential candidates in Kabul and inaugurate the new Indian embassy. With her visit to Afghanistan, Swaraj has now visited four of the eight countries in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) since taking over the portfolio.
