Bollywood newcomer Sushant Singh Rajput and his long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande are set to tie the knot soon.
Sushant and Ankita had been dating each other for the past four years after they met on the sets of popular TV show "Pavitra Rishta" in which they play a couple.
Opening up about his relationship with Ankita, the "Kai Po Che!" star said, "We are in happy space today. I think marriage can happen anytime... It can be this year or next year," Press Trust of India reported.
"She is the stabilising factor in my life. It is because of her that my happiness gets multiplied and when there is a setback she holds me," he added.
Sushant had been quite candid about his relationship with Ankita and said he isn't bothered if that would affect his female fan followers.
"I did not think about all this... I don't understand stardom I don't aspire for stardom. I feel even if I am married or single or divorced and still I am skillful at my work and convincingly portray characters on screen then there is no reason to worry as the believability factor is still there in me," Sushant said.
The 27-year-old actor made his Bollywood debut through Abhishek Kapoor directorial "Kai Po Che!" which is based on Chetan Bhagat's book "Three Mistakes of My Life". Sushant received appreciation for his role in the film.
After the success of "Kai Po Che!", Sushant received with several offers. The actor also grabbed big banner projects like Aditya Chopra's "Shuddh Desi Romance", Aamir Khan-starrer "Peekay" and Dibarkar Banerjee's "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy".
Sushant went on to say that he discussed his projects with Ankita, who would often give her suggestions on the same. "She is very much aware of the films I am doing. She does give me suggestions. I think I can't ask for more," he said.
