The confusion around the release date of Suriya's S3 aka Singam 3 has been cleared on Monday, 19 September, after the makers formally announced the date of the release of the much-awaited Tamil movie. Well, the bilingual flick will hit the screens on 16 December.

Earlier, the makers had wanted S3 to be released during Diwali festival. But the plans have undergone changes for some reasons. Of late, there were rumours doing rounds that the flick might hit the screens in January.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the introduction song of Suriya in S3 is in progress. The number, titled 'Oh sone sone supersonic,' has been composed by Harris Jayaraj and choreographed by Brinda.
Talking about the track, Pa Vijay has said that it is a peppy and energetic number. The song tries to be different from the usual intro tracks and will feature many new-age sensibilities.
S3 is the third instalment in the highly successful Singam franchise. Suriya plays the role of a sincere and fiery police officer. Anushka Shetty plays the main female lead in the movie while Shruti Haasan is a fresh addition to the cast.
Saithan Teaser
The teaser of Vijay Anthony's Saithan has been released on Monday, 19 September. It is an intriguing video which was directly released online. Pradeep Krishnamoorthy's film features Arundhathi Nair, Charuhasan, Meera Krishnan, YG Mahendra, Kitty and others in key roles.
The film, which will be released during Diwali, has already received positive buzz with its first-look poster.
