The much-hyped teaser of Suriya's forthcoming movie "24" is finally ready for release. The video will hit the internet Friday, March 4.
The news has been confirmed by journalist Sreedhar Pillai, who tweeted, "#24Teaser on Friday March 4 at 6 pm." Of late, teasers of films that star A-list actors are being released at midnight, but the makers of the Suriya-starrer have surprisingly decided to unveil the video at 6 p.m.
The teaser has already been screened before a few industry insiders and Sreedhar Pillai is one of them. After watching it, he posted, "Just saw the electrifying teaser of #24TheMovie .@Suriya_offl simply terrific in what looks like a triple role.Crisp Classy cut #VikramKumar.(sic)"
He added: "#24TheMovie teaser shows it is going 2 b different & innovative with amazing BGM by @arrahman. Teaser release this weekend @StudioGreen2.(sic)" His positive words have added to the good vibes around the teaser release.
The makers have also planned a grand music launch function this month. The exact date of the audio release is not revealed yet, but the buzz says the album will be out in the last week of March. It has to be noted that Eros has acquired the audio rights of "24."
Suriya's "24" is a science-fiction movie about time travel. The actor is said to be playing a triple role in the multilingual flick, which is simultaneously being shot in Tamil and Telugu. Samantha and Nithya Menen have romanced the in the flick.
Vikram Kumar's "24" is produced by Suriya himself under his home banner 2D Entertainment. The Tamil movie will hit screens in April.
