The teaser of Suriya-Samantha's upcoming film "Anjaan" ("Fearless") has received massive response online.
The teaser was launched at the grand Vijay Awards function on Saturday and was also uploaded online on the same day. The video, showing Suriya as a stylish gangster, has evoked overwhelming response from the fans. The teaser has received more than 7 lakh hits in less than two days and is fast approaching the 1 million mark (10 lakh hits).

Looking at the teaser, one can expect "Anjaan" to be a stylish action entertainer with all the commercial elements including romance, song, punch dialogues and comedy. The film's first look posters have already received fantastic response and now that the teaser is fetching positive feedback, expectations surrounding the film have increased.
Directed by Lingusamy, "Anjaan" will reportedly have Suriya in dual roles. Samantha plays the female lead for the first time opposite Suriya. Vidyut Jamwal of "Thuppakki" fame, Dalip Tahil, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Bajpai, comedian Soori are also part of the film's cast. Popular bollywood actor Chitrangada Singh will be doing a special song in the film.
The shooting of "Anjaan" is completely wrapped up and the film's team is currently busy with the post-production work. The audio and trailer release of the Suriya starrer is expected to take place on 17 July.
"Anjaan" is gearing up for a big release on 15 August. The film will also be dubbed in Telugu and released in Andhra Pradesh as Suriya's films have a huge market in the state. The Telugu version is reportedly titled as "Sikander" and the film is likely to release along with the Tamil version on Independence Day.
Sridhar Lagadapati has bought "Anjaan" Telugu dubbing rights and he will be distributing the film in Andhra and Telangana on his Larsco Entertainment banner. "Anjaan" distribution rights have been sold for whopping price in other states including Kerala and Karnataka as well as in overseas markets. Yahaya Bhai of United India Exports will market the film in foreign locations, reported the Times of India.
Anjaan's audio rights has been bagged by Sony music south.

The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The action entertainer is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Thirrupathi Brothers.
