After successfully releasing the first look of "Mayavan" last week, the makers are now ready to unveil the teaser of Sundeep Kishan-starrer film. Well, actor Suriya will be launching the video on Tuesday, Aug.2.
Announcing the news, Sundeep Kishan tweeted, "Teaser of #Maayavan will be rel by @Suriya_offl anna today :) the man I learnt so much from as an AD on his Set :) [sic]" Suriya will be releasing the teaser on his Twitter account at 6 pm.
The teaser is expected to a glimpse at Sundeep Kishan's character in "Mayavan." It is also believed that the clip might give hints about the storyline of the upcoming Tamil flick.
Recently, the first look of "Mayavan" was released by Hansika Motwani and the posters had met with positive response from the audience. As a result, people now have pinned high hopes on the teaser.
CV Kumar, who has produced many low-budget hit films in the last six years, is turning independent director with "Mayavan." It is a thriller, which revolves around a serial killer. Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi are playing leads in the flick. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff will be seen in an important character and Daniel Balaji, Jayaprakash, Bagavathi Perumal, Mime Gopi and others are in the supporting roles.
Nalan Kumaraswamy of "Soodhu Kavvum" and "Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum" has penned the screenplay for the thriller, which has Ghibran's music, Gopi Amarnath's cinematography and Leo John Paul's editing.
"Mayavan" was launched in February 2016 and the shooting of the film has been completed in July. The film unit is now busy in the post-production stage.
