Superstar Suresh Gopi is back with a bang. The actor was on a dry spell for the past few years but is now returning with a bunch of mainstream films. The actor will be seen in Shibu Gangadharan's new venture "Rudra Simhasanam".

The film is expected to go on floors by January in Ottapalam. The script is penned by Sunil Parameshwaran, who had earlier scripted Santhosh Sivan's much-acclaimed movie, "Ananda Bhadram". It also has Nedumudi Venu and Sudheer Karamana in pivotal roles.

Nikki Galrani will play the character of Haimavathi opposite Suresh Gopi. The actress, who made her debut in Malayalam in "1983", later went on to do noticeable films like "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana" and "Vellimoonga".

The actress is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film with Dileep, "Maryadharaman", which is the remake of Telugu blockbuster, "Maryada Rammana". This film is expected to hit theatres around New Year. The actress is also awaiting the release of the movie "Enthoru Bhagyam" which is currently in the post-production stage.

Meanwhile, Suresh Gopi had three releases this year including "Salaam Kashmier", "Apothecary" and "The Dolphins". Though "Salaam Kashmier" failed to make a mark at the box office, "Apothecary" and "The Dolphins" were appreciated for his impeccable performance.

He is currently shooting for the upcoming "My God" along with Honey Rose. The story of the film revolves around the 15-year-old son of a rich planter, whose life is burdened and stressed with plenty of expectations from his parents as well as the society.
