Sunny Leone's sex-comedy "Mastizaade" and multi-starrer erotic thriller "Hate Story 3" were supposed to be released on the same day (4 December) but the former's release date might be postponed.

It has been reported that the makers of "Mastizaade" starring Sunny Leone, Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor are thinking of delaying the release of the film to avoid a box office clash with "Hate Story 3" featuring Zareen Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah.

"The producers of the film (Mastizaade) are working on a new date for the film. But nothing has been finalised as yet," Absolute India quoted a source as saying.

The report also quoted trade analyst Girish Johar, who said that the decision to postpone the release of "Mastizaade" is a "sensible" one.

"It is a sensible decision as both the films cater to the same target audience. If they had released on the same day, business of the two films would have got affected," said Johar.

The movie "Hate Story 3" has become quite popular ever since the release of its trailer, which suggests that the movie will have a lot of steamy scenes. Moreover, the film's songs are also being liked.

On the other side, "Mastizaade" will present Sunny Leone in double role and the diva is popular for her on-screen skin show. Also, the film features Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor, who have proved their comic prowess earlier. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the movie's trailer is yet to be released.
