Celebrities are generally no strangers to gossips and dating rumors, but looks like Sunny of Girls' Generation is. Born Lee Soon-kyu, the South Korean signer turned 26 on 15 May. On her birthday, Sunny expressed her feelings about her and singer/actor Seo In Guk's dating rumours, and revealed the truth behind them.

On the 15 May broadcast of "Sunny's FM Date", the singer played "Don't Hate Me" by Epik High before explaining, "Don't hate me. I noticed I had a dating scandal today. It was so absurd". She continued to add that it was the first dating scandal of her life and it came out on her birthday.

"I'm letting the sunbaes and hoobaes close to me know once again," Sunny said clarifying that the rumours are false.

Meanwhile, the labels of both Sunny and Seo , SM Entertainment and Jellyfish Entertainment, respectively, denied the dating rumours. While SM Entertainment simply stated "It's not true", Jellyfish clarified that the two were friendly, but not dating.

Rumour mills had suggested that the two came close while co-starring the 2013 film, "No Breathing". Sunny was said to have nursed Seo In Guk back to health after his brief stint in the hospital last month.
