A film's trailer usually focuses more on its central characters, giving minimum space to supporting actors. But the makers of "Sultan" have chosen a different path.

According to sources, "Sultan" trailer will not be all about Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma. It will give prominence to Amit Sadh and Randeep Hooda who play key roles in the film.

"Both Amit and Randeep have important roles in the film and Ali wanted to highlight them in the trailer itself. Of course, there is going to be lot of focus on Salman, projecting him as the hero. But the other characters, who have important roles, will also be featured. Ali wanted to give them space in the trailer and it has worked out quite well," the Asian Age quoted an insider as saying.

This is a refreshing change because when you have Salman as the lead, it's difficult to fit in any other artiste in the frame. Also, if you take his previous films, there was hardly any room for the second fiddles.

The trailer, which will be out on Tuesday, is three minutes long and will focus more on Sultan Ali Khan's (Salman) wrestling moves and his awkward Haryanvi accent. The teaser garnered millions of hits on YouTube courtesy the superstar's dhobi pachchaad stunt.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the sports-drama film was filmed in Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi and Mumbai. When in UP, the junior artistes were made to hold up boards that had Haryana written on them. This had created quite stir and residents weren't too pleased that Muzaffarnagar was being shown as another town/city.

"Sultan" releases this Eid.
