Suits is into its eight season and yet, the Donna-Harvey romance awaits an upgrade. Fans have grown impatient from waiting for their favourite characters to hit it off. And so, they have come up with their own story arc where these two are expecting their first child together.

"Pretty sure #Darvey will be stuck in the elevator or something...they're putting wayyy too much emphasize on it this season...Darvey baby? one can only hope," a user wrote on Twitter.

Another user chimed: "So I just realized that tomorrow's episode (S8 e7) is directed by Gabriel. Now my hopes are really high because he once said something like "I want what the audience wants" And what we want are DARVEY BABIES."

What's more, some have been discussing on social media if they can expect to witness a romantic scene between them on tonight's episode (titled Sour Grapes).

But, the makers love to tease. Creator of the show Aaron Krosh told TV Line earlier this year that the team intends to keep the Harvey-Donna equation as is.

"The push and the pull that they have with each other, no matter where it ends, is not finished. It's not finished in the long [run]," he said and later, in a Twitter interaction assured viewers that there would be scenes between the two no one ever thought of.

Meanwhile, there's been a huge void that Mike Ross seems to have left in Harvey's life. He has his own way of tackling issues and looks like he has finally found a friend in Louis Litt.

Whatever the case may be, the viewers aren't too pleased with the team shake-up. As a result, there's been a steady dip in the TRP rating the show has been bringing in. When Suits first aired, it had raked in a whopping 4 million plus viewers per episode, which has now gone below 2 million.

What's interesting to note is, it's not just Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle's exit that has left the show in a flux. The social media audience is of the opinion that the legal-drama stopped being exciting after completion of season 2. Apparently, the cases aren't thrilling anymore and that the makers are trying hard to keep the show afloat by adding new characters, who aren't making an impression.
