We all know that Ben Affleck's Batman has a cameo in Warner Bros.' upcoming DC film, "Suicide Squad." Apart from being heavily featured in the trailer, last year's leaked on-set videos and photos pretty much confirmed the Batman's role in the film.

Recently, some new details about his role in "Suicide Squad" have surfaced online and it doesn't look like he will be interacting much with the Joker.

Batman-News posted an update on the character's role in David Ayer's supervillain team-up movie, confirming that Batman isn't going to cross paths with the entire team of villains. He has two separate scenes with Will Smith's Deadshot. One of them has been described as an "emotional" scene while the other plays out in the form of a flashback.

"Next is the car scene that we saw in the trailers with Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn. Unfortunately there isn't much interaction between Batman and the Joker here. It's mostly between Batman and Harley. A report came out last summer that said the Joker's car plunges into the water, and as we saw in the latest trailer, it does and Batman gets Harley out safely."

While it remains a rumour as of now, this description will certainly disappoint fans who are waiting to see Batman and the Joker come face-to-face again after Christopher Nolan's 2008 hit, "The Dark Knight."

"Suicide Squad" is slated to be released on Aug. 5, 2016.
