Full Telugu movie Subramaniapuram (Subrahmanyapuram) of actor Sumanth has been leaked on torrent sites and its free download is likely to take a toll on its collection at the box office.
A notorious gang, which is involved in alleged activities online, has released the full movie of Subramaniapuram on its websites hours before it completed the opening day in the cinema halls. The website offers six different versions of its HQ PreDVD - HQ Line Audio for free download. Within hours, the prints have also spread to other torrent sites, which are also offering its pirated copies for free.
Thousands of people have apparently downloaded the full movie Subramaniapuram in the last two days. A viewer, which watched its pirated copy says that the movie has been recorded during its screening in a cinema hall and this copy has poor audio and video quality. He adds that the movie should be watched in cinema halls for its real experience.
Subramaniapuram is a mystery thriller movie, which is about a staunch atheist from Hyderabad, who lands in a village as part of his research about gods. Sumanth has played atheist, while Eesha Rebba appeared as his love interest. The film has impressed the viewers and received positive response from everyone.
Sumanth is waiting for big break of his career, as his recent releases have become average grossers at the box office. He has pinned a lot of hopes on Subramaniapuram. But it could not get enough number of cinema halls as it had to share screens with three other release. Now, its pirated copy is posing a big threat as it is likely to affect its collection at the box office, by keeping audience away from theatres.
