Star Parivaar Awards 2016, which recognises talents from Star Plus, ended on a grand note on Wednesday, April 27. Held at the National Sports Club of India Complex in Worli, Mumbai, the prestigious award ceremony was a star-studded event and saw the presence of several celebrities.
Some of the popular television celebs mesmerised the audience with their sizzling dance performances. Hina Khan aka Akshara of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" set the stage on fire with her powerful performance. "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya" actors Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu and Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem Modi performed on "Hua Hai Aaj Pehli Baar" song from the film "Sanam Re."
Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan and directors Goldie Behl and Omung Kumar were the jury members of the ceremony. "I'm extremely excited to be a part of the jury this year. We have been watching STAR Parivaar Awards since the last 15 years and my whole family is fond of it," IANS had quoted Farah as saying.
Divyanka looked stunning in a blue attire and walked away with six trophies, which was the highest number of awards someone bagged this year. Deepika Singh and Devoleena Bhattacharjee also looked gorgeous. Some inside pictures and videos from the grand event have also surfaced online.
