The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to declare the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I results 2016 soon. Most aspirants may know the marks they may score by now as the commission has already released answer key of the exam.

According to reports, the results are likely to be declared in the first week of October. The commission has already said that the CGL Tier-2 exams (mains) will be tentatively held in November, which means the Tier 1 results should be out in October.

Candidates can check the CGL Tier-I results at SSC official website ssc.nic.in. Click the 'SSC CGL Tier 1 Results' link on the site and fill all the required details before pressing the submit button to know the results.

The commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 Tier-I online exam from August 27 to September 11. About 25 lakh candidates applied for the exams, but only 14,25,234 appeared for it.

Candidates, who pass the Tier-1 exams, can appear for the Tier-2 which is scheduled to be held in November.

The commission conducts the exams to several posts like assistant section officer, inspector, income tax inspector, enforcement officer, sub-inspector, divisional accountant, assistant audit officer and several others under group B and C categories.
