Actress Srinda is set to make it big in the Malayalam film industry. The actress, who began her career with cameo appearances is now set to foot in as lead actress.

The latest buzz is that the newbie will star opposite Jayasurya in the satirical comedy entertainer "Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu", which is scripted and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, who had earlier scripted the super hit film "Om Shanti Oshana".

As the title suggests, the story revolves around a goat and will see Jayasurya in the role of Shaji Pappan, captain of a tug-of-war team. The film also tells the story about this team and its members and Vijay Babu will be seen as a police officer in the film.

This upcoming flick is produced by Vijay and Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Film House. The production company's last film with Jayasurya was "Philips and the Monkey Pen" (2013), directed by Rojin Thomas and Shanil Muhammed. It was a box office hit and also enjoyed excellent reviews from critics and audiences. The film received many accolades, including the Kerala State Film Award for best Children's film and child artist Sanoop received the Best Child Artist award.

The shooting of the upcoming Jayasurya starrer is expected to kick start by the end of October in Idukki. It also has Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Bhagath Manuel, Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod and some fresh talents in pivotal roles.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Vishnu Sharma and the music will be composed by Shaan Rahman.
