Filmmaker Karan Johar will make the sequel of "Student of the Year" soon, thus speculations regarding the cast are doing the rounds. The recent buzz is that Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor might make her Bollywood debut with "Student of the Year 2" (SOTY 2).
Earlier, it had been reported that KJo is launching Shahid Kapoor's half-brother Ishaan Khattar and Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Khan in the sequel. The filmmaker is reportedly having meetings with Sridevi, but the "English Vinglish" actress has not yet reverted with a final decision, SpotboyE reported.
"Student of the Year" also had three newcomers — Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan — in the lead roles. It seems Karan is coming up with another story about a love triangle. It will feature Ishaan, Sara and Jhanvi in it.
Sridevi still has the capability to mesmerise viewers with her talent, thus people expect a lot from Jhanvi. Ever since Jhanvi expressed her desire to become an actress, she has been flooded with movie projects both from Bollywood and the Southern industry.
In the past, there were rumours that South Indian producers had approached the youngster to star opposite Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja and Nagarjanuna's son Naga Chaitanya. Also, she had earlier made headlines with the news that she would make her debut with the Tamil film "OK Kanmani" opposite Dulquer Salmaan, but Sridevi later rubbished the news.
However, the buzz of casting Jhanvi in "SOTY 2" has been doing the rounds for a long time. It would be interesting to see Sridevi's daughter on the big screen along with other two good-looking debutants.
Apart from these three star kids, people would love to see Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli on the silver screen soon.
