Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Dhadak (an official remake of 2016 Marathi superhit film Sairat), has expressed her desire to work in Tollywood and pair up with Geetha Govindam actor Vijay Devarakonda.

During the Q&A session with on Koffee With Karan 6, when Karan Johar asked Janhvi if she had to wake up one morning as a male actor, who would it be? To which she replied, "Vijay Devarakonda" adding that she will do a film with him.

Earlier, Vijay Devarakonda had said that he was keen on working with Janhvi Kapoor and wanted her to be the female lead actress opposite him in the upcoming production venture of Mythri Movie Makers which will directed by a Tamil director.

It was also believed that Vijay D had asked the makers of the film to approach Janhvi for the role and that she would agree to work with him. However, Janhvi had said at an event that she wants to first cement her position in Bollywood and then think of doing South cinema.

And now that Janhvi has dropped the hint, it remains to be seen whether she will star opposite the Geetha Govindam star in the near future.

Meanwhile, reports are also doing the rounds of the industry that the makers of Director SS Rajamouli's RRR have approached Janhvi Kapoor to play female lead opposite Ram Charan. It is being said that Janhvi is already in talks and are working on formalities aided by Karan Johar who launched Sridevi's daughter in Bollywood.
