Rameswaram, June 06 (ANI): Sri Lanka freed 33 Indian fishermen who were detained by the Sri Lankan Navy for allegedly poaching in the country's waters, after President Mahinda Rajapaksa ordered their release as a goodwill gesture. Released Indian fishermen Edwin Raj thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government for taking the initiative. The fishermen were handed over to the Indian Coast Guard Ship "Rajkamal" at the seas off Mannar.
