Malayalam Actor Asif Ali is on a roll. The actor, who has back-to-back movies in his kitty, is now set for his next project "You Too Brutus" directed by Roopesh Peethambaran.
The poster of the movie, which was released recently, has already become popular.
It portrays the lead actors as animals. Sreenivasan is a lion, Asif Ali a tiger, Tovino Thomas a gorilla, Anu Mohan a bulldog, Ahmed Siddique a fox, Sudhy Kopa a pug, Honey Rose a cat, Rachana Narayanan Kutty a cow and Ena Sahaa a puppy.
The makers say that they want to convey that there is an animal in every human being and do so in a creative way through the poster. The movie is touted as a comedy entertainer.
"There is an animal in every human being. The first look of my film depicts the same. Each character in the movie has an animal characteristic and so the first look has been designed in an innovative manner. The story relates a lot to the animal behaviour in a human being. Just like how charming but wicked a fox is or adorable a puppy is, the same way the characters have been assigned their roles," said director Roopesh Peethambaram to The Times of India.
For director Roopesh, this is his second movie. His first was a thriller, "Theevram", which starred Dulquer Salmaan.
"My debut was crime thriller Theevram. But this film is a comedy entertainer and I wanted to try out something appealing with the first look. The title of my new film sounded serious so I wanted to break that notion with the posters," added the director.
Meanwhile, Asif is currently busy with the shooting of VK Prakash's "Nirnaayakam". The film also stars Mlavika Mohan, Nedumudi Veni, Prem Prakash, Saiju Kurup, Ashokan, Prakash Bare, Anoop Chandran, Sudheer Karamana, Hemanth, Risabawa, Shanker Ramakrishnan, Adil Ibrahim, Tisca Chopra, Lena, Sanusha and Sreedevi Unni.
The actor is also awaiting the release of his films "Driver on Duty", "Adevntures of Omanakuttan" and "Doubel Barrel".
