Spring season boosts everyone's mood and it's not all to do with the great weather. Come April, popular shows like "Game of Thrones", "Veep", and "Orphan Black" will be back on air with their new seasons, and "Outlander" will be back with the second half of its first season. New promising series will also premier in April 2015.

Every season of the fictional series "Game of Thrones", based on George RR Martin's books, leave fans craving for more. Fans are eagerly waiting for the Season 5 premiere as the showrunners promised that the new season would prove to be spoilers for the unreleased books of Martin. Watch out for the the premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 5 on Sunday, 12 April, at 9.00 pm (EST) on HBO.

Meanwhile "Outlander", which has been on a mid-season hiatus since 27 September, will be back on air from Saturday, 4 April. During the PaleyFest 2015 held in LA in March, showrunners had said that the show would take an extremely dark turn in the second half of first season. Watch out for new episodes of the historical time travel series on Saturdays at 9.00 pm (EST) on Starz.

John Hamm's "Mad Men" is also returning after a hiatus on 5 April. The period drama, set in the 1960's fictional Cooper advertising agency, will be airing Season 7 episode 8 at 10.00 pm (EST) on Sunday.

HBO's "Silicon Valley" and Sundance TV's "The Red Road" are both coming back for their second season. While the sitcom based on a start-up firm in the US will air Season 2 episode 1 on 12 April at 10.00 pm (EST), the Jason Momoa-starrer drama will premiere on 2 April at 10.00 pm (EST).

Other series returning with new seasons are "Louie" (Season 5) on the CW, "Veep" (Season 4) on HBO and "Orphan Black (Season 3) on BBC America.

Meanwhile, "Happyish" - the dark comedy created by Shalom Auslander - will premiere its first episode on Sunday, 26 April, at 9.30 pm (EST) on Showtime. The reality show "Cedric's Barber Battle" and "The Messengers", an apocalyptic drama, will both premiere on 17 April at 9.00 pm (EST) and 8.00 pm (EST) respectively on the CW network.

"Marvel's Daredevil" will be part of the Spring 2015 line-up from 10 April, when it premieres on Netflix. NBC will also showcase a new series this season, with "A.D" on 5 April at 9.00 pm (EST), whereas FX will air the first ever episode of the series "The Comedians" on 9 April at 10.30 pm (EST).
