Maruti Suzuki has started testing the new Ertiga facelift on Indian roads, suggesting that the launch of the model is not far away.

The new Ertiga facelift was caught on camera earlier too, but this is the first time the folks at Gaadiwaadi have captured the test mule on the road, while it was undergoing it testing. Although the latest spy shots of Ertiga facelift is seen hiding under heavy camouflage, it is not difficult to figure out the outline of the facelifted avatar.

From the word around the internet, Ertiga facelift is likely to stick to the same body kit of the current, except for the minor tweaks in the front and rear bumpers. Previous spy shots of the model indicated that the new Ertiga will get new Chrome grille on the front. Coming to the side profile of the new Ertiga, the model could get new alloy wheel design.

As for interiors, the cabin of the new Ertiga facelift seemed to have got new touchscreen infotainment system. Other changes expected in the model include electrically adjustable and retractable Outside Rear-View Mirrors (ORVMs), Start/Stop button and new steering wheel.

Under the hood, Eritga facelift is likely to pack the same1.4-litre four-cylinder K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, Multijet, turbo-charged diesel engines. An earlier report had said that the new Ertiga will deliver an improved fuel efficiency of 25.2kmpl.The model is expected to be priced in the range of ₹6 lakh-₹10 lakh.
