Amritsar, Nov 15 (ANI): Governor of US state of South Carolina, Nikki Haley who grew up as a Sikh, paid an emotional visit to holy Sikh shrine Golden Temple in Amritsar on Saturday. The holiest of Sikh shrines, Harmandar Sahib, popularly known as Golden Temple, is visited by devotees across India and the world. Haley was born as Nimrata Nikki Randhawa and was two-year-old when she last visited India. The daughter of immigrants from India, she was the first woman elected governor of South Carolina. She became so emotional on her visit that she could not hold back her tears. Haley is on a 10-day visit to India to attract investments in South Carolina and vice-versa.
