The rumoured Sony Xperia Z1s aka Xperia Z1 Mini international variant is reportedly set to get launched in China this month.
The Chinese arm of Sony has announced the launch of a new device on 14 January, via its official online store. Though the teaser ad does not give any clear hint of the rumoured Xperia Z1s, the page has been painted with strokes of four colours - yellow, black, white and pink - the very same color variants of Xperia Z1f, the region specific Xperia Z1 Mini model offered by NTT Docomo in Japan. This colorful hint has lead many tech blogs to believe Sony might indeed release the Xperia Z1 Mini international variant outside Japan this month.
Rumour has it that the Xperia Z1s will have same specifications seen inside the Xperia Zf (SO-02f), except some changes in the network connectivity features. It is expected to sport a 4.3-inch HD (720x1280p) display and run on Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean (or newer version).
Under the hood, the mini Xperia phone will pack a Qualcomm beast, Snapdragon 800 CPU (2.2GHz speed), Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 2,300 mAh battery, 20.7-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 2.2-megapixel snapper on the front side.
