Sony officially released the new mid-range smartphone, Xperia XA dual SIM, in India on Friday.
The new Xperia XA sports a 5.0-inch HD screen and houses MediaTek (MT6755) Octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2300mAh cell.
It also comes with 13MP primary camera on the rear-side with 1/3-inch Exmor RS for mobile sensor, quick launch, Hybrid auto focus, HDR photo, 5x Clear image zoom, auto scene recognition and a 8MP wide-angle camera.
With the launch, Sony now sells two of the four Xperia X series phones in India – one a flagship Xperia X dual SIM (Rs. 48,990) and another Xperia XA dual SIM (Rs. 20,990). The other two models— Xperia X Performance, a top-end model with Snapdragon 820, and the camera-centric phablet Xperia XA Ultra are yet to be made available in the country.
Price and availability:
Sony's Xperia XA dual SIM is now available on Amazon India (HERE) for Rs. 20,990.
Considering the features and price of the new Xperia XA, Sony will have a tough time convincing buyers as rival brands such as Motorola Moto G4 series, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and LeEco Le 2 with much better hardware are available at a much less price.
