The Sony Xperia M5, which was unveiled recently, is expected to be released soon. The device will have to compete with a dozen of smartphones, including the LG G3 and the OnePlus 2. 

Sony has revealed on its Facebook page that its Xperia M5 will come with a price tag of TWD 12,900 (around $401/€362/Rs 25,950).

Its India price has not been revealed yet, but it is likely to fall between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. It will take on devices such as the LG G3 (Rs 30,000) and the OnePlus 2 (Rs 24,999).

Display: The Sony Xperia M5 sports a 5.0-inch full HD screen with 1920x1080p resolution (441 ppi pixel density), while the OnePlus 2 has a 5.5-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density). Storage: The LG G3 comes packed with a 16/32 GB internal memory expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card and 3 GB RAM, which is almost on par with the Xperia M5 that has a 16 GB internal storage expandable up to 200 GB and 3 GB RAM. On the other hand, the OnePlus 2 has 3 GB RAM for 16 GB version and 4 GB RAM for 32 GB model, but has no microSD card slot.

Camera: The Sony Xperia M5 boasts of a 21.5 MP rear camera and 13 MP front snapper, while OnePlus 2 has a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP front snapper. The LG G3 has a 13 MP main camera and a 2.1 MP front snapper.

Battery: The OnePlus 2 is ahead with 3,300 mAh battery, followed by 3000 mAh battery seen in the LG G3 and 2600 mAh in the Xperia M5.
