Sony's upcoming mid-range device dubbed as the Xperia C6 is back in news after a lull. Photos of the alleged device have been leaked online, giving a hint of what it may offer when launched.

It was reported that the Japanese electronics giant might announce the Xperia C6 at the Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC 2016) in February, but it didn't happen. With the company choosing to keep mum on the device, it is difficult to even guess when it will see the light of day.

Now, several pictures of a device believed to be the upcoming Xperia C6 have surfaced on Tieba (via XperiaBlog). It has a big display, perhaps a 6-inch like the Xperia C5 Ultra, and a large front-snapper. The handset has thin bazels and is reportedly under testing.

It may be recalled that @OnLeaks had earlier tweeted the render of the purported Xperia C6 that appears almost bezel-less and smaller than its predecessor, the Xperia C5 Ultra. Reports have it that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor and sport a 1080p screen.

It may be mentioned that the Xperia C5 Ultra sports a 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (367 ppi pixel density), measure 164.2x79.6x8.2 mm in dimension and weigh 187 g. Under the hood, it has a Mediatek MT6752 processor, an Android 5.0 Lollipop (upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop), a 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB via microSD card), a 2GB RAM, a 13MP rear and front cameras, and a non-removable Li-Ion 2930 mAh battery.
