Sony Mobile launched new generation selfie-centric smartphone dubbed as Xperia C4 on Wednesday, 6 May.

"Xperia C4 caters to consumers that want a smartphone that not only takes great photos, but also packs a punch. Benefiting from Sony's camera expertise, the 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens lets you capture perfect selfies, while its quality display and performance features provide an all-round advanced smartphone experience."

The new Sony Xperia C4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD screen with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 display technology.

USP of the Xperia C4 is that it boasts feature-rich 5mp front-camera with soft LED flash, a 25mm wide-angle lens and Exmor R image sensor, which help users to capture photos with low noise and vivid colour even in low light.

Other stipulated features include Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 64-bit class 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and 2,600mAh battery, which can run the phone for close to 682 hours under standby mode.

The company has confirmed that the Xperia C4 will be made available in two variants, Single SIM & Dual-SIM, in select regions by early June.
