Popular smartphone-case maker Spigen SGP has leaked a picture of the rumoured Google Nexus 5.

Details regarding the battery-type and pricing of the new Nexus gadget had surfaced online earlier this week and Spigen SGP has now posted the back-panel image of the smartphone.

The photograph, with a tag-line "Nexus 5 Revolution Be Ready", was also accompanied by a question, "Where will you be when the revolution begins?" However, the company refrains from revealing the release date of the phone. Google is reportedly planning to launch the new Nexus smartphone, along with the newly unveiled Android v4.4 Kit Kat OS on 15 October.

The snapshot by Spigen reveals Nexus 5's back-panel flaunting a big-camera sensor with an LED flash below it. The camera module is strikingly similar to the one seen on the recently released Nexus 7 (2013 edition) tablet.

According to latest reports, Nexus 5 will also see a major bump in screen size, as well as internal hardware. And as an icing on the cake, the prices of the handset variants are said to be customer-friendly like its predecessor.

The Google smartphone reportedly comes in two variants with different battery capacity: the 16GB (with 2300 mAh battery) model is expected to sell for $299 (₹18, 500), whereas the 32GB (with 3000 mAh battery) variant is said to hold a price-tag of $399(₹24,700).

Nexus 5 is rumoured to sport a 5.0-inch (4.97-inch, to be precise) full HD display, with a staggering pixel density of 442 ppi (pixels per inch). The device is also pegged to be the first Android smartphone to hit market with recently unveiled v4.4 Kit Kat OS.

In terms of hardware, it reportedly packs 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and houses an advanced 8.0-megapixel main camera boasting MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology which can focus on an object (still/moving) in 10 milliseconds, almost seven times faster than any top-end camera smartphone (they usually take 20-25 ms) in the market. It also boasts a 1.2-megapixel secondary camera on the front.
