Popular South Korean record label SM Entertainment recently revealed that the firm has no plans to release its boy band EXO's next Christmas album this December.

Speculations regarding the music group's next album started doing the rounds after a popular production company named Joombas tweeted about their collaboration with the band that read: "Coming this winter #EXO #Christmas #EXO #SM #Joomba." The post immediately captured the attention of many EXO fans and they started discussing about the group's upcoming release.

However, immediately after the production company noticed that the post is going viral and capturing unnecessary attention, they deleted it from their social media account. Meanwhile, SM Entertainment released an official statement regarding the recent buzz and revealed that the company has no plans to release a Christmas album of EXO in the near future, according to Soompi.

Since the boy band released their first Christmas album, "Miracles", in December 2013 and they are yet to reveal any details about their next project, the followers of the music group still consider the speculation as a leaked information and are eagerly waiting for the upcoming release.

The EXO members are currently busy with the preparations of their performance at the Japanese music festival, a-nation. The festival will be held in Tokyo on Wednesday, 4 November, wherein they will release their first Japanese single. They made their debut in the Japanese entertainment industry through their television show "EXO Channel" on 7 August.

The nine-member group is also set to rule the stage of Japan with their EXOPLANET #2 - The EXO'luXion concert tour from 6 November. During their concert tour, EXO will woo the audience with hit songs such as "Growl", "Call Me Baby" and "Love Me Right" from their popular albums. After creating some waves in Tokyo, they will be at the stadiums of Kyocera Dome in Osaka from 13 to 15 November.
