Czech auto-maker Skoda rolled out a special edition Zeal across its model line-up in India.
The new variant will be available only for a limited period in India and is already available across all Skoda dealers in the country. Skoda's India line-up Yeti, Rapid, Octavia and Superb gets the new Zeal edition.
While the Zeal edition of the Superb, Octavia and Yeti model range gets premium black interiors which includes - black Alcantara leather seats, black dashboard and black door trims, the Rapid Zeal edition features leatherette and Alcantara seats, navigation device with rear-view camera, rear Parktronics, observation mirror and floor textile mats.
Mechanically, all the models remain the same and continue to draw power from the same engines.
In another development, Volkswagen India also launched a special edition of its Vento in the country. Available in Highline and Comfortline (manual only) trims of Vento, the new Vento is called Special Edition Vento Maginfic.
Speaking of the changes, Vento Maginfic Highline houses Blaupunkt infotainment system with front and rear display units and 3G internet connectivity and the Vento Magnific Comfortline variant gets Garmin navigation device, scuff plates with Vento badging and alloy wheels.
Safety features include dual front airbags, powerful dual-beam headlamps and flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel.
The new edition is on sales from 10 March. While the Vento Magnific comfortline petrol and diesel priced at ₹8.57 lakh and ₹9.26 lakh respectively, the Vento Magnific highline models get a price tag in the range of ₹9.26 lakh to ₹10.42 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
