Siwet Tomar evicted from Rise & Fall after he pushes, hits Shehzad Poonawalla [Watch]

After Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Salman Khan, a brand-new reality show that premiered just two days ago, Rise & Fall 2 has already landed in controversy over physical violence and the use of abusive language. Be it any reality show, the use of crass words and violence is strictly prohibited.

It so happened that contestants Siwet Tomar and Shehzad Poonawalla had a verbal spat, which soon turned ugly, wherein Siwet rushed towards Shehzad and was about to hit him, but Swara Bhasker intervened.

The episode featured contestants competing for the Ultimate Ruler title, which comes with decision-making powers inside the Tower. During the discussion, Shehzad named Siwet as someone he felt was not capable of becoming the ultimate ruler.

Shehzad also questioned Siwet's equation with Karan Patel and later raised questions about Siwet's sudden interaction with Swara Bhasker, despite Siwet previously saying that he would not speak to her. The exchange soon became heated.

The confrontation intensified when Shehzad mentioned Siwet aligning with Swara, despite having stated that he wouldn't engage with her until she apologised for her statements about Rajput women, alluding to her remarks on the Jauhar scene in Padmaavat.

The confrontation escalated when Siwet grabbed Shehzad by the neck and pushed him down. Shehzad was reportedly injured, and his clothes were torn during the altercation. Other contestants intervened to separate the two.

At the conclusion of the promo, Siwet is shown violently rushing at Shehzad, as Swara intervenes and says to Siwet, "Don't hit him."

Siwet thrown out of the show

Physical violence is not permitted inside the Rise & Fall Tower, and the incident resulted in disciplinary action against Siwet.

Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel walk out

Siwet's eviction also led to a protest from Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel. The two contestants disagreed with the decision and argued that Shehzad's comments had contributed to the escalation.

Hosted by Virender Sehwag, Rise & Fall Season 2 premiered on September 26. The show divides its contestants into Rulers, who stay in the Penthouse, and Workers, who live in the Basement and carry out tasks for the Rulers. The season features 15 contestants, including Gautam Gulati, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tej Pratap Yadav, Shehzad Poonawalla, Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel and Siwet Tomar.

The show streams on MX Player and Prime Video.
