The Simpsons is back with another season and this time, the series will explore the origin and past of the evil billionaire, Mr Burns.

The episode will showcase Mr Burns putting up a variety show to take revenge against the Simpsons who have damaged his reputation in Springfield. The events of the variety show will lead to Burns thinking of his old days and that's when the viewers will get to see his past.
The synopsis of the episode reads:
"When Springfield is burned to the ground, the Simpsons beg Mr. Burns to fund its rebuilding. Burns agrees - with one condition: he gets to put on a variety show at the Springfield Bowl."
Amy Schumer of Trainwreck fame will be voicing Mr Burns' mother. The actress has also appeared in other animated series like Family Guy and Bob's Burger.
In a recently released promo for season 28 of The Simpsons by Fox, Bart can be seen along with a dog whose name is Homer. Besides it, the promo video also showcases several other characters and scenes that fans will get to see in the upcoming episodes.
In the meanwhile, the latest couch gag of the premiere episode features the Simpsons family exploring the world of another iconic animated series, Adventure Time where they journey through radioactive Bad Lands full with toxic waste, multi-eyed squirrels and other familiar Adventure Time elements.
