Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba (Simba) has crossed another big box office milestone on day 12 (Tuesday) with its collection crossing Rs 200 crore at the domestic market.

Simmba emerged as a super-hit movie with excellent earning even over the second week. After opening up at the box office with a collection of Rs 20.72 crore, the action drama managed to earn Rs 75.11 crore in just three days of its release.

After ending the first weekend with superb numbers, Simmba refused to slow down over the weekdays, and managed to cross Rs 150 crore by the end of its first week at the Indian box office.

Although the film's earning declined from second Monday, it still managed to rake in good moolah for its producers. Simmba had collected Rs 6.16 crore on second Monday, thereby being just around Rs 3 crore behind Rs 200 crore domestic collection.

The film conveniently crossed the double century mark by the end of day 12. Simmba collected Rs 6.03 crore on second Tuesday, and surpassed Rs 200 crore net Indian box office collection.

"And #Simmba roars louder with a DOUBLE CENTURY... Hits ₹ 200 cr mark... Shows solid hold on weekdays, which indicates it won't slow down soon... [Week 2] Fri 9.02 cr, Sat 13.32 cr, Sun 17.49 cr, Mon 6.16 cr, Tue 6.03 cr. Total: ₹ 202.83 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Having been released on around 4,000 screens across India, Simmba has been dominating the box office with huge business since the opening day. The movie will continue to earn good money in coming days as well, but the release of Uri: The Surgical Strike and The Accidental Prime Minister is likely to affect its collection.

Nonetheless, both the two upcoming releases cater to different set of audience, and Simmba has its own set of masala movie viewers.
