Devotion or craze about a star can produce strange and insane results. Here is an example of the same, as a fan of Simbu has attempted to commit suicide over the delay in release of the actor's latest flick "Vaalu".

The die-hard fan of Silambarasan tried to kill himself on Wednesday, 15 July, after the Madras High Court ordered an interim stay on the release of "Vaalu" due to some financial settlement issues. The film was supposed to release on 17 July and the delay seems to have hurt the fan, leading him to attempt suicide.

Luckily, the fan was saved and his condition is stable now. However, Simbu is unhappy over the same and is hurt by his fan's irresponsible act. Reacting to the issue, he tweeted, "Heart breaking to hear a fan tried to commit suicide.I'm literally in tears now and i pls request fans to stay strong .Wont let u guys down

"I am already broken and trying my best to stay strong and pls don't do this to me at this moment ...Ur love is more than enough for me ..."

Silambarasan has not had a single release since 2012. His last release was "Podaa Podi". While he has tried his hands at different things in the last few years, none of it turned fruitful for the actor. In fact, it had an adverse effect on "Vaalu", which has been in the making for three years.

If that was not enough, his personal life was also hit by his split with Hansika Motwani. The former couple parted ways after dating for a while for reasons best known to them. But they decided to put their personal differences aside to complete "Vaalu".

Meanwhile, the new release date of the upcoming film is yet to be decided, as "Vaalu" will not be permitted to hit screens until the legal issues is sorted out.
