Silambarasan's much-hyped "Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan," which is also known as "AAA," was launched on Saturday, July 9. A formal pooja was conducted to mark the beginning of the shoot.

"@iam_str @Adhikravi 's #AAAShootStarts with a Puja !! Our best wishes to team #AAA ; @Global_Infotain ; @MLAmichael, [sic]" public relations professional Riaz Ahmed revealed the news on Twitter.

The regular shooting of the film will be started in Mysore, Karnataka. Scenes involving Simbu and Shriya Saran will be shot in the first schedule. Shriya is one of the three female leads in the upcoming Tamil film, in which the "Sivaji" actress will play the role of a middle-aged woman. Two other actresses will also be signed up later, say reports.

Meanwhile, fans welcomed the news by trending '#aaashootstarts' hashtag on Twitter. They are hoping that Simbu will return to his good form with this latest venture. The last few years have been tough for the actor, who has not had any hits in the recent past.

"AAA" is directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who struck gold at the box office with his debut film, "Trisha Illana Nayanthara." The movie will feature nine songs, which are being composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The makers plan to release one track after the other instead of unveiling all songs in one go through an album.

"Due to lots of fans request,@iam_str @thisisysr we have planned to release every song as a single one by one for #AAA #Sirappu #single1by1. [sic]" Adhik Ravichandran tweeted.

A look of Simbu has already been revealed recently, and met with good response from people. He is seen sporting a moustache and beard in the photo.
