Selvaraghavan and Silambarasan's delayed Kaan has not been shelved yet. Yes, the news has come straight from the horse's mouth.
The filmmaker himself has confirmed the news in an interaction with his fans on Twitter. Selvaraghavan has said that many are asking him about the status of the movie. To put a full stop to the rumours, he has stated that there are no differences between him and Simbu.
"Simbu is a close friend to me and Yuvan Shankar Raja," he revealed. Selvaraghavan claims that the project will happen at some point and the movie would take them to a different level.
Currently, Selvaraghavan is working on much-hyped Maalai Naerathu Mayakkam, which has SJ Surya, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles. It is a horror-comedy film, which has Yuvan Shankar Raja's music, Arvind Krishna's cinematography and Prasanna GK's editing.
He will be soon moving on to Santhanam's movie, which will be a romantic-comedy movie. As per the director, the film will be made on the lines of 7G Rainbow Colony.
Meanwhile, Silambarasan is basking in the success of his latest movie Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, which was released on 11 November. The movie, directed by Gautham Menon, has given a much-needed break to the actor.
Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada has garnered positive reviews and has performed well at the box office despite the note ban. The actor is busy with Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan, which is known as AAA. It is only after the completion of this flick he will be taking up his next film.
