Simbu seems to be finally ready to bid singlehood goodbye: He has agreed for an arranged marriage!
His father T Rajender confirmed the news to the Times of India that Simbu has given the green signal for marriage on condition that he like the girl and she likes him. Till now, 32-year-old Silambarasan had reservations about arranged marriage. However, the change is believed to have happened due to the repeated failures of his relationships.
Reports say the issue came up during a family lunch during the Pongal festival celebrations. His parents are happy with Simbu's decision and bride-hunting for the actor started straightaway.
Simbu had his first serious relationship with Nayantara. They were in love for over two years. But something went wrong and they parted ways. Later, their intimate lip-lock picture was leaked, causing huge embarrassment to the former couple. As a result, they avoided working with each other for many years. But times of have changed now, as the duo has teamed up for the forthcoming Tamil film "Idhu Namma Aalu".
After breaking up with Nayantara, the "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa" actor fell in love with Hansika Motwani. They were seeing each other for more than a year and had surprisingly announced their affair on Twitter. But this relationship, too, did not last.
The actor's decision on marriage has come as good news for his fans. They hope this will be the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
Meanwhile, Simbu is getting ready for the release of "Idhu Namma Aalu" on 14 February. He is also busy with the Gautham Menon directorial "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada".
